Infinix Zero Flip to launch in India today: How to watch livestream

Infinix is launching its first flip phone in the Indian market today— Infinix Zero Flip. The launch marks a significant step for the company, as it will enter the limited market of the compact flip phones. The phone will be competing against Motorola and Tecno clamshell phones. However, Infinix has already disclosed that the price of the Infinix Zero Flip will be below Rs 50,000. Looking at the price, we can deduce that the phone’s design language is not the only selling point, the affordability point is also being targeted.
Infinix is to launch Infinix Zero Flip in India today. While there is no livestream on YouTube so far, the launch can be tracked on its website and on Flipkart’s Infinix Zero Flip microsite.
The Infinix Zero Flip is a cutting-edge foldable smartphone, equipped with dual AMOLED displays and a sleek, lightweight design. The cover display, protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2, offers 1100 nits of peak brightness, while the inner screen reaches 1400 nits, ensuring excellent outdoor visibility. Infinix claims the cover screen is the largest in its category.
The phone’s thin and light build measures just 7.64mm in thickness and weighs 195g. It supports a unique Hover Mode, allowing the device to stay open at any angle between 30 and 150 degrees for hands-free use. It is available in Rock Black and Blossom Glow colour options.
The dual-camera setup on the rear includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens. For selfies, the device features a 50-megapixel front camera housed in the inner display. Both front and rear cameras support 4K video recording, with an AI Vlog Mode that provides step-by-step guidance for creating polished vlogs.
Additionally, the phone offers seamless integration with GoPro cameras, enabling users to adjust settings and view footage directly from the phone.
Under the hood, the Zero Flip is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It runs XOS 14, based on Android 14, and will be eligible for upgrades to Android 15 and 16, with three years of security patches.
The device packs a 4,720mAh battery with 70W fast charging, capable of reaching 50 per cent in just 17 minutes, making it the largest battery in its segment.
